I’m fed up with the old Nucleus Grumpy site, I forgot how to use it so I have changed to Wordpress. I have saved some of what I consider were the best postings and they will be added very shortly. I will see if I can keep this sticky in the meantime.

Imagine telling somebody twenty years ago that by 2007, it would be illegal to smoke in a pub or bus shelter or your own vehicle or that there would be £80 fines for dropping cigarette butts, or that the words “tequila slammer” would be illegal or the government would mandate what angle a drinker’s head in an advertisement may be tipped at, or that it would be illegal to criticise religions or homosexuality, or rewire your own house, or that having sex after a few drinks would be classed as rape or that the State would be confiscating children for being overweight.

 Imagine telling them the government would be contemplating ration cards for fuel and even foods, that every citizen would be required to carry an ID card filled with private information which could be withdrawn at the state’s whim. They’d have thought you a paranoid loon.

 What a country this is. I despair. The only way we will get out of the coming depression and I quote from an “expert” on such things on TV news, “is when there is a resurgence of the financial services sector in about 2 to 3 years”.

Holy shit! We are dependent on the “Wanker Bankers”, some of whom earn more in a year than the rest of us earn in a lifetime for doing nothing more than working in a casino gambling on the cost of certain commodities in months to come.

They achieve nothing but wealth for themselves and others in the loop. They produce nothing, they manufacture nothing, and when they balls up they are subsidised to the tune of £30 billion. 

Come the crunch we will all starve because we cannot feed our people anymore, we do not make steel, and now we do not make LandRovers or Jaguars - or at least we won’t for much longer, and all for the sake of £1 billion. This from the BNP site:

HIT HARD by cheap labour competition from Asia, US-based motor multinational Ford has sold its former proud British brands of Jaguar and Land Rover for £1 billion to Tata, the Indian conglomerate which manufactures the world’s cheapest car.

The deal will mean that jobs in the West Midlands and at the Halewood plant on Merseyside will be lost as production is moved to India where labour costs are a third of those here. It will mean more British manufacturing shutting down, more British jobs lost, more British lives ruined and more British communities devastated thanks to the ‘global free market’ to which Labour, the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats all insist Britain’s economic future is signed up to.

It was the global free market that allowed historic British motor firms like Jaguar and Land Rover to be taken over by multinationals like Ford in the first place. Vast conglomerates who owe no loyalty to Britain and subject to no effective control from our Government. Conglomerates who are then able to treat British firms and their workers as pawns in their global game, regardless of the cost in jobs and the welfare of the workforce.

Ford downgraded the once prestigious and luxury Jaguar marque so it could cut global costs by using parts and designs from elsewhere in its empire. Their so-called X-class Jag was basically a Ford Mondeo with a cat on the bonnet. A fact that was not lost on potential customers, causing sales in the key US export market to drop from 60,000 in 2002 to 20,000 in 2006, and causing Jaguar to nosedive deep into the red with a loss of $550 million last year.

Land Rover is, as it always has been, profitable, and the Halewood plant has been recognised as the most productive in Europe. So these two famous brands have been bundled together to sugar the pill so that Ford could dump Jaguar.

Industry analysts agree that British jobs are now under threat, as is the very future of the plants in Coventry, Birmingham, Warwickshire and Merseyside in which they work. Some of Britain’s most experienced and skilled workers will be dumped on the dole. Those of them aged over 40 will probably never work again, facing only a life of hopelessness and poverty. Whilst, bereft of the money the car workers spent, shops, pubs and small businesses around the plants will also go to the wall. Turning yet more communities into sinks of poverty and despair while Labour and Tory politicians alike turn their backs on them to bow low before the bankers and City sharks who bankroll them and their parties

.A British National Party Government would have bought Jaguar and Land Rover back off Ford, as we would the last remaining carmakers in Britain. British motor manufacturing would be returned to British control with Government and workforce working together to back technological research and development, supported as a national strategic endeavour, and co-ordinated and funded by the State. To safeguard our industry and the jobs it provides, tariff walls would be introduced compensating for the unfair advantage of employing cheap Third World labour, and forcing foreign imports to compete on quality and on a level playing field.

Isn’t it ironic that this Labour Government can throwaway £30 billion to bail out a failing bank but doesn’t think it right to invest £1 billion in buying back Jaguar and Land Rover to secure jobs and a future for British car making in this country.

Isn’t it ironic that our Trade Unions, which should be looking after the interests of British car workers, have welcomed the Tata deal. Presumably the TUC’s anti-British leadership are delighted about all those new cheap labour jobs that will be created in India.

For my US friends who may not know about British 1960’s politics here is some background. In 1968 there was a Labour government. it was at this time that the Asian immigration started.

One man who happened to be a prophet for our time tried to warn us of the consequences. He was Enoch Powell. He was a cabinet minister in a previous Conservative government. Now in opposition he stood for leadership of the Conservative party. Unfortunately for the future, he lost to Ted Heath, who became prime minister in 1970 until 1974.

In 1968 Enoch Powell made a speech about immigration that is now known as the “Rivers of Blood” speech. He had huge backing from the British public and if there was a general election with Enoch Powell as leader he would have won a landslide victory. He was reviled and exiled because of his speech because this is when the first buds of political correctness where forming.

He was right in everything he said in general except in hindsight it can be said that the Hindu’s, Sikhs and Jamaicans were not the problem as such. It was the hordes of Pakistani Muslims who have become the major problem for our civilization some forty years later.

He derides the archbishops and the MSM for sweeping the problem under the carpet.

He says that the indigenous population will become discriminated against.

He talks of immigrants (Muslims) agitating and unifying against the rest of the population

He tells of the indiginous people unable to get hospital beds and housing because of immigration

He said all this in 1968. If he knew what it is like today he would be spinning in his grave

The BBC have been running a season of programmes called “White”. They pieced together his speech for the first time - we only saw fragments before - together with a commentary from mainly left wing dhimmis.

I have taped the full hour and have condensed the first half hour into just under ten minutes, the second half hour will follow. I removed the comment from others - the dhimmis - and concentrated on the speech and comment from the time. It was quite a job doing this and exercised my editing skills to the full. I have just uploaded it to YouTube. In order for it to get maximum showing it is necessary for it to get maximum viewing in the next 24 hours - that’s the way YouTube works - and that’s why I haven’t embedded it.

Now we know why Hitler wanted to invade England in 1940. Following recent events it seems that Germany is a nation of cannibals. Hitler, a vegetarian himself, wanted to secure us Brits as a food source for his fellow Germans. Well, it would seem like that on a crazy day.

The recent case of Armin Meiwes who had childhood fantasies of eating school friends and in later life acted out his fantasies is probably just the tip of the iceberg. A current estimate predicts there are close on a thousand cannibals in Germany. Despite this it seems that Armin Meiwe’s case was the first of it’s kind:

Mr Meiwes advertised on the internet for a well-built male prepared to be slaughtered and then consumed.

“Slim and blond, that would have been the type”, he told the court.

The victim, 43-year-old Bernd-Jurgen Brandes, answered the advert in March 2001.

Mr Meiwes told investigators he took Mr Brandes back to his home in Rotenburg, where Mr Brandes agreed to have his penis cut off, which Mr Meiwes then flambéed and served up to eat together.

Prosecutors say Mr Meiwes then stabbed the victim repeatedly in the neck and dissected the corpse.

It would seem that he wasn’t short of volunteers. They might be German but even that’s really weird!

You don’t have to volunteer to die in order to satisfy dark Germanic fantasies. Just sacrifice some bodily fluid and you’ll live to do it again. Meanwhile the cannibals can sate their appetite without killing the victim and  ending up in jail:

Two German air force sergeants are facing a court martial after trying to mass produce sausages made with the blood of their comrades.

	The receipe included onions, bacon and spices

The two men, who are based at Fürstenfeldbruck, a fighter squadron headquarters, near Munich had already trialed a traditional receipe using their own blood.

But they were caught trying to recruit fellow servicemen and family members to ensure a constant flow of raw materials.

One of the soldiers posted pictures of himself on a popular German website siphoning off their blood and adding it to a recipe for the traditional Blotwurst sausage using onions, bacon, spices and breadcrumbs.

The incident only came to the attention of senior officers after one of their fellow soldiers reported the fact that he had been asked to donate some blood for the scheme.

The man is reported to have said: “I have been asked to give blood for sausage-making and I want to know if this is against regulations.”

The sergeants, aged 25 and 29 and identified only as B and G, were suspended immediately last December, the German defence ministry confirmed yesterday.

The recipe for the sausage, which apparently came from one of their grandmothers, was found in the belongings of one of the men after they were arrested.

It read: “Make sure the blood is fresh and the bacon cubes diced finely with a nice proportion of fat to lean. Do not use too many breadcrumbs but if the blood starts to curdle stir in a teaspoon of wine vinegar.”

The men are reported to have told investigating officers that they both had an “interest in cookery”.

More like the usual Germanic interest in cannibalism if you ask me.

The massive influx of immigrants from Eastern Europe has many ramifications for our culture. Their culture clashes with ours on some fronts that are not immediately obvious. For instance our gentle anglers go out fishing for the day to catch carp with barbless hooks.

The name of the game is to catch the biggest of these notoriously difficult to catch fish. They have their photo taken with ancient monster fish and what do they do then? They put them back in the water so they can catch them another day.

What do barbarian immigrants do? They eat them. What with the increase in rapes and violent crime attributed to the eastern Europeans it’s bad enough but this is just beyond the pale:

Carcasses from dead swans, broken up and stripped for food, have been discovered in a camp used by East European immigrants, according to reports.

Anglers and walkers spotted the sickening remains of the illegally slaughtered royal birds beside the River Lea in east London.

One swan had had the wings snapped from its back, while other bones lay near to a tent and cooking utensils.

Thousands of feathers were also scattered around the dirty camp, which is now being investigated by the RSPCA.

Immigrants apparently live there in makeshift tents, on land which is part of the 2012 Olympics site, as they try to find somewhere else to live. Angler David Gibson, 42, revealed how he saw a pile of swan wings in the camp on Tuesday.

He said: “It’s vile. You could see where they’d snapped off the wings and plucked them before cooking.

“These swans belong to the Queen and for someone to come here and butcher them is a disgrace.

“It makes me sick to my stomach. I have heard it is mostly Eastern Europeans who are camping here until they can get a house,” she told The Sun.

David Akinsanya, who keeps a boat on the river, said: “In their countries, it may be acceptable to live off the land but people should understand that here they cannot just take and eat swans.”

Swan used to be regarded as a delicacy but feasting on the bird died out in Britain a century ago.

Under an ancient charter, they are officially owned by the Queen and killing them is now punishable by six months in jail and a £5,000 fine.

Three tents remained in the camp on Wednesday. Two young Poles living there refused to come out and speak to reporters but denied taking the swans.

A Romanian bible and cooking equipment could be seen outside another tent, while putrid food and thousands of feathers were nearby the third.

Police have pledged to send officers into the camp regularly to ensure they are not breaking the law and killing swans.

The RSPCA are also investigating. A spokesman said: “We treat this very seriously. We ask anyone with information to come forward.”

The discovery comes six months after it was revealed that Polish and Lithuanian immigrants in Bedfordshire appeared to be killing swans for food.

They were spotted trying to drag the 20lb birds away from the Grand Union Canal, while remains of butchered swans were found on the towpath in Leighton Buzzard.

Hundreds of swans were thought to have disappeared from the area, prompting the local angling club to erect a sign reminding people they are protected by law.

“The Government should be a bit more particular about who they let into Britain. We are being overrun with lawless vagrants and criminals from these Eastern bloc Countries and there doesn’t seem to be a damn thing any of us can do to stop it. If people come to live here, they should be expected to speak the language, house themselves, have a job ready to start, pay taxes and obey the laws of the land, then they will be welcome. Until then, it seems we are an open door to any ne’er do well that fancies a free lunch. Unfortunately this one, was on the Queen!”

I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Yobs can beat up old people and stamp on the heads of ordinary folk who challenge their behaviour and they don’t go to prison. But they jail this chap for not paying his Council Tax. This country has gone MAD.

This is outrageous. We can’t find room in our prisons for criminals who are left to roam our streets and carry on offending, but we can always find room for a law-abiding pensioner that served his country for 22 years in the British Army.
He should be released immediately.

The council tax increases every year at a rate above inflation yet the pensioners are expected to pay up regardless of the fact that the pension does not increase at the same rate. At the same time other costs are increasing massively. Electricity, gas, water and food all up by 10% or more.

The council tax partly increases year after year because of the index linked pensions paid to retired council workers. Nice one. The poorer pensioners are being made to pay for the council workers. They make a stand and object and so they go to prison:

The pensioner jailed for refusing to pay his council tax has been sent to a prison 80 miles away from his family because there is no room near home.

Richard Fitzmaurice, 76, was sentenced on Monday after withholding tax payments in protest at pensions falling behind council tax rises and the rising costs of fuel and food.

 The great-grandfather’s family had hoped he would be sent to Norwich prison, the nearest to the house he shares with his 77-year-old wife, Rita.

But the ex-serviceman will serve his 34-day term alongside murderers and rapists in the 494-inmate category B Bedford prison.

He owed £1,359 in council tax, plus £209 in bailiff and court costs.

After he was sentenced, the former warrant officer with the Royal Army Ordnance Corps was handcuffed and taken to a holding cell in King’s Lynn Magistrates’ Court.

After eight hours officials gave up trying to find a prison cell and sent him to a police station in Peterborough, where he arrived shortly before 9pm.

The next day he is understood to have spent two hours in a prison van, picking up other offenders on the way to Bedford.

 I never did like Morrisons and much preferred Safeway as it was but I have no choice, I wouldn’t shop there unless I had to, especially after this:

One of Britain’s largest supermarket chains is asking all customers - even pensioners - if they are over 21 before selling them alcohol.

Morrisons has ordered the move to avoid heavy fines for selling booze to under-18s.

In the biggest crackdown so far by a major retailer, checkout workers at dozens of stores in “high risk” areas –where under-age drinking is rife - have been told to ask customers of all ages for proof of identity.

Pensioner Jack Archer - a Second World War veteran - faced an inquisition when he tried to buy a bottle of sherry at a Morrisons store in York last year.

“I like to think of myself as a youthful 87-year-old but it would be a stretch to pass myself off as a teenager,” he said at the time.

“The checkout girl said she had to ask how old I was and I laughed.

“But it then became pretty obvious she wasn’t making a joke and actually meant it. She seemed genuinely reluctant to serve me without some written proof but one look at me should have been enough.”

A Morrisons spokesman said last night: “We take our responsibility with regard to selling alcohol very seriously.

“We do not wish to cause offence or disrespect to those persons over the age of 21.

Well don’t ask me then because I will be offended at the stupidity of a dictat that takes away commonsense from checkout staff. I bought some alcohol from Morrisons today and as I’m a grumpy old git I would have refused to say if I was over 21. Unfortunately the very young checkout girl was obviously breaking company rules and didn’t ask me.

Meanwhile I live in hope because I like nothing more than to challenge stupidity.

It has always been the case that DNA evidence is not always to be relied upon. When a woman describes a rapist as black, large and tall but the police charge a white man who was medium height and slim WTF do they think they are doing? Surely the victim’s description is to be above that of the flimsy DNA evidence of one hair? Daily Mail:

A white man who was wrongly charged with rape even though the victim said her attacker was black described his “nightmare” ordeal for the first time yesterday.

Mark Minick feared he would lose his girlfriend and children and contemplated suicide after he was charged on flawed DNA evidence.

Yet despite being cleared of all allegations, the 26-year-old is suffering the “final injustice” of still having to wear an electronic tag.

It was fixed to his right ankle as a condition of bail when he was charged last October with raping the teenager seven years ago.

For four months he has been under virtual house arrest between 11pm and 7pm. If he broke the curfew the tag would have set off an alarm and he could have faced jail.

Mr Minick, a father of two, told the Daily Mail: “I’m a free man and everyone knows I didn’t rape that poor girl.

“But here I am, forced to stay at home at night because the security company hasn’t come round to take the tag off.

“It is a terrible way to treat an innocent man who was charged with a crime he did not commit. But after the way I’ve been treated, I’m not in the least bit surprised.”

He said the conviction made him an easy target for detectives desperate to solve the crime. During hours of questioning, three police officers claimed they had watertight DNA evidence linking him to the attack.

They told him one of his hairs had been found on the victim’s ring. But they did not mention her statement describing her attacker as “black, large and tall”.

Mr Minick is 5ft 6in and slim. His only visit to Bexleyheath was during a shopping trip as a child with his mother.

A minister has been accused of risking a “return to the workhouse” after saying the unemployed should have to seek work or lose their council homes.

Housing minister Caroline Flint said there was clear evidence that there are many long-term unemployed in social housing who may be able to find employment with the right support.

And she suggested that new council tenants who can work could have to sign “commitment contracts”, agreeing to actively seek employment.

Housing charities criticised the idea. Shelter chief executive Adam Sampson said: “The Government wants to return Britain’s unemployed to the workhouse by throwing them onto the streets. What is being proposed would destroy families and communities and add to the thousands who are already homeless.”

Alan Walter, chairman of the Defend Council Housing pressure group, said: “This is obviously part of a long-running strategy to try and stigmatise council housing as housing of last resort. It runs alongside continuing blackmail on tenants and councils to privatise council homes, asset stripping public land for private development and forcing people into the private market.” Daily Express>>

What has the house you live in got to do with whether you work or not? Admittedly there are a lot of people who don’t work but have got trapped in the system, but there are other idiot things that need to be dealt with before this.

For instance, firstly the government should STOP paying benefits to Muslim men for more than one wife. They wouldn’t do that for the rest of us would they?

Next they should stop paying child benefit to immigrants who have their children in other countries. Then they should kick all immigrants from outside the EU off benefits unless they have conformed to the rules. i.e. work for one year before entitled to benefits.

Oh and finally, perhaps stopping all immigration would ensure there were some jobs to go to for those who are able to work BUT never, never should they pick on people who live in social housing like this.

There’s plenty of people living in private accomodation who don’t work AND they cost the system a lot more money because of much higher rents, but if this idiot government has it’s way their numbers will be increased OR will they be living in the streets?
